Where do I even begin with this one? Well, it was towards the end of my semester at Otis College, I was feeling creatively burnt out, restricted, tired of it all. I graduated and I just wanted to make some work that would make me happy, but I also wanted to challenge myself at the same time. A friend mentioned I try working in a Dip pen, you know, those fancy pens where you have the nib and dip the nib into the ink? Yeah, yeah, those. So, I did! Now, at first everything was going wrong! The ink would splatter everywhere just simply ruining my art work, then the nib wouldnt run the ink so that was happening almost at the same time. I got tired, I didnt know what to do. So, I went back to the drawing board (hehehehe) I practiced on some paper until I got the hang of it, then I focused on this piece that you are seeing right now. I took so much time just trying to get it right. I felt like I got a lot better while doing this drawing. Moral of the story is, if you feel like you suck at something, do that exact thing more. Just so many times, do it everyday....you will get better and even more comfortable at that one thing. Yeah, anyways, you can buy this. <3
